Prodesse Investment Limited is a closed-end investment company that invests in a portfolio of actual or implied AAA-rated US residential mortgage-backed securities, such as those issued by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae. The company, incorporated in Guernsey, provides distributable income from the spread between the interest income earned from these securities and the cost to finance their acquisition. Since all of Prodesse’s investment are made in US$, and earnings are in US$, any dividends paid will also be made in US$.

Prodesse, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange (PRD) and the Channel Islands Stock Exchange and is part of the FTSE All-Share, FTSE All Share Financials, FTSE All Share General Financials, FTSE All-Share Ex Investment Trusts, FTSE Smallcap, and FTSE Smallcap Ex Investment Trusts Indices. Prodesse is managed by Fixed Income Discount Advisory Company (FIDAC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Annaly Capital Management, Inc.
